Hi! I’m planning a family vacation and wanted to include a private boat trip as part of our itinerary. We’re looking for something that’s family-friendly and doesn’t feel too rushed or overcrowded. Ideally, it would have activities like snorkeling or sightseeing, but also some downtime to just enjoy the water.

Does anyone have experience with private boat tours? I’d appreciate any recommendations, especially if the company is good with kids. Thanks in advance!

Hi there! For a family-friendly private boat experience, I’d definitely recommend https://www.cabodeluxesailing.com. I went with my family last year, and it was such a relaxing and fun day for all of us, including the kids!

The crew was amazing—they really went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable. They had life vests and snorkeling gear for the kids, and the itinerary was super flexible. We spent some time snorkeling and then just relaxed on the deck with snacks and drinks while the kids watched for dolphins.

It’s also great because the boats are spacious but private, so you don’t feel cramped or rushed like on a bigger tour.

I think this is the best idea ever for a family trip! Private touring is definitely the way to go when traveling with kids-it makes everything so much less stressful. Much obliged for sharing the suggestion-it'll get a spot on my wish list for our next one, let me know how that works out if you book with them-I'd love to hear how they treat family groups.

Advantageously, we hired a private tour company to make everything really easy and less stressful. Visiting places like this with kids is definitely worth it, especially after so long. Thanks for the suggestion; I'm going to put it on my next trip bucket list, too!
