Like any large city, Dallas has plenty of iconic restaurants that have been gathering places for generations of residents and tourists. You won't go hungry in Dallas TX. This city knows how to satisfy the big appetites that come with big business.

The Wineyard Grille And Bar

The live-music eatery capitalizes on the city's love of outstanding wine. You can find this bar on the back lot of an Autograph Collection Hotel of Hotel Vin near the famed Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Dallas TX. Choosing a glass of wine while browsing the barbecue fusion menu is a great way to enjoy the fusion of European elements with Texas norms.

With black truffle Manchego fries or smoked gouda mac 'n cheese, you can test your theory on three enormous U-8 tiger prawns dressed in barbecue, olive, Roquefort, brava, or chimichurri sauces.

Willie D's

There is nothing better than Willie D's Barbeque Burger with cheezy bacon, barbacoa tacos, caramelized onion, and fries topped with flaming hot Cheetos. Don't forget to try the grilled oysters with black pepper-blue cheese compound butter.

Seven kinds of oyster side dishes are included in the menu, as well as house-ground beef burgers and tacos wrapped in fresh tortillas. Icehouses offer these with ice-cold beers, just as they do at any decent restaurant.

S&D Oyster Company

If you believe you can find the best seafood on the Gulf Coast, you're in for a shock. Since 1976, Herb and Mary Kay Story, the proprietors of S&D Oyster Company, have been bringing the best seafood to Dallas TX. S&D is a terrific spot to indulge in your seafood compulsion because of its Cajun origins and passion for oysters, shrimp, and loaves, or what they call po'boys.

Mister01

Miami-based gourmet pizzeria Star Luca produces delectable art with a fragile, thin crust that rests for 72 hours. You'll find ricotta, mozzarella, calabrese salami, fresh basil, and Italian tomato sauce in this pie.

Small pizzas apiece are ideal for solo dining, and those interested in eating healthy can build their salads using a variety of vegetables, meats, and greens. You can be confident that any dish you order will be of the highest caliber because most ingredients come from Italy or a nearby vendor.

Jimmy’s Food Store

Jimmy's Food Store has been serving delectable Italian pastries and food out of a small market in East Dallas that the DiCarlo family has run for generations. When the restaurant reopened, Mike and Paul DiCarlo refocused Jimmy's attention on Italian wine and cuisine. The enormous muffuletta and spicy Italian sausage at Jimmy's are some of the best Italian sandwiches in Dallas TX. The in-house-produced cannolis are almost mythical.

Jia Modern Chinese Dallas & Asian Lounge

With this offshoot of Preston Center's JIA Modern Chinese, Lakewood gets a much-needed dose of high-end Asian cuisine in a more relaxed atmosphere. This new site offers full Thai cuisine and Chinese specialties from its sister restaurant, like the Signature Kung Pao Chicken.

The renowned Drunken Noodles and Spicy Red Curry are available on the latter, and you can come up with anything from tofu to a combination of chicken, beef, and shrimp. There is also a sizable sushi menu offered.

Norma's Cafe

The original Norma's Cafe, which first opened in 1956, still serves Southern comfort food prepared like your grandma did when you were a child. And everything in the world is superior to grandma's baked biscuits, except for Norma's.

This Oak Cliff landmark provides southern cuisine in Dallas TX, including hearty country breakfasts to get your day going, packed lunches to keep you going, and home-style dinners to keep you out of the kitchen. Every night of the week, Norma's has a different dinner special, but all you need to know is that Saturday's special is chicken and dumplings.
