Safe School Portraits Pop-up Fundraiser by Visual Impressions Photography
(October 9, 2020. Gresham, Oregon.) -In this ever-morphing pandemic, life is nothing compared to what we expected of 2020. With continued distance learning for school-aged kids, the opportunity for school pictures seems like another lost tradition.
Yet children will continue to grow and change, regardless of COVID-19 and the restrictions in our midst. In response to this, Amanda Campy, owner of Visual Impressions Photography, will be hosting a special event to help bring a bit of routine back to our children's lives. Campy's passion for supporting her local community not only provides school photos but supports a local charity. A portion of sales will be donated to Journey Up, a non-profit that provides school supplies, food, and clothing to children in need.
During this two-week (socially distanced) School Portrait Event and Fundraiser, parents of students in Gresham and the surrounding area can order school picture packages.
Capturing a child's school portrait now will help us remember that 2020 was not just about the pandemic. This portrait event is much like the ingenuity, creativeness, and persistence we've seen to support our communities throughout this pandemic. It proves that we will get through this.
Hang in there, and be sure to visit Visual Impressions Photography's online store at http://schoolpix.square.site/ to create your order ahead of time. There are also some perfect options for grandparents and family holiday gifts, including mugs, photo blocks, keychains, and magnets. Orders can also be placed at the event.
This pop-up School Portraits Fundraiser will be at 109 NE Roberts Avenue in Gresham, Oregon from October 9th, 2020 through October 23rd, 2020, on the following days and times: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesdays 2:00 to 6:00 P.M., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Campy founded Visual Impressions Photography in 2000. They are focused on serving their customers by providing quality customer service and products for each individual, from school portraits and newborn photos to engagement announcements and family portraits. Visual Impressions Photography has grown steadily over the years, but like most businesses, it was hit hard by the pandemic when all youth sports programs and school portraits were canceled.
Mandated business shutdowns and stay-at-home orders also slowed portraits at the studio. Giving back to the community has always been a part of the business, with each event supporting local organizations.
