All About Your Feet: Pain, Treatment, Wellness Dr. Pelto from Central Massachusetts Podiatry
March, 2020, Worcester, MA -- Walking, running, and working out on a regular basis is good for your health in several ways. Unfortunately, if your feet hurt because of an Ingrown Toenail, Plantar Fasciitis, wound, or Achilles Tendonitis, any pressure on the foot can become unbearable. Thankfully, Dr. Pelto is a passionate podiatrist who loves to share his podiatric knowledge with the community. You will understand his passion for podiatry when you watch one of his YouTube videos or access one of his books. For example, his guide on Achilles Tendonitis starts with explaining what it is and the various symptoms such as pain at the heel, pain in the morning when you get out of bed that gets better throughout the day, and pain that increases over time. Dr. Pelto goes on to explain why this occurs, how it is diagnosed, and when to seek treatment by filling out a scorecard.
The remainder of the book covers treatments for reducing inflammation and tightness, stabilizing the foot, and reducing pressure. The treatments are thorough and practical, and include both pragmatic and current options including shockwave therapy and amniotic membrane therapy. Each treatment description provides the right amount of detail to be understood by anyone, which is a great departure from books you’ll find at the library or bookstore.
From his YouTube channel, eBooks, and free newsletter, you can gain knowledge about basic foot care to understanding how Achilles Tendonitis happens and what to do at home to help it heal. While practicing Central Massachusetts Podiatry, Dr. Pelto has written three additional books about foot care: Heal Your Foot Wounds Fast, The Plantar Fasciitis Book, and Healthy Living Guide to Ingrown Toenails. All four books are available for purchase at Amazon, or are currently available for free when you subscribe to Dr. Pelto’s free “Healthy Living Newsletter” at drpelto.com/.
Local to rural Minnesota, Dr. Pelto achieved his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the Dr. William M. Scholl College followed by a three-year residency program in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Pelto’s residency focused on reconstructive foot and ankle program at St. Vincent Hospital, and he became a board-certified Foot Surgeon active in the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Pelto is often invited to speak at events, and he has written many books and articles related to his profession. Visit here https://drpelto.com/free-books
