Set Date/Time format:
In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”

Nanie Rie's Turkey Soup
2 large turkey drumsticks
12 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
onion
carrots
celery
thyme
14 oz can diced tomatoes
12. oz. frozen corn
12 oz. frozen cut green beans
2 cups noodles
1 can kidney beans
Combine the turkey, water, salt, pepper and bay leaf in a large pot and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Take out meat and bones; set aside.
Add 1 large chopped onion, 3-4 carrots, chopped, 2 celery stalks chopped and 1/2 tsp thyme. Add 1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes and cook for 20-30 minutes longer. Then add 12 oz. corn and 12 oz. cut green beans. Bring back to boil. Add 2 cups noodles and cook until pasta is tender and then add turkey meat back in with a can of drained and rinsed kidney beans.
