06 Sofia
Update Received May 2012: It's coming up on 3 years since we adopted our amazing Beagle Sadie (formerly Sophia) from your organization. I wanted to tell you we all love that dog to distraction, and she is extremely happy. In celebration of her recent 5 year birthday, here are some photos that make it clear how important she is to our family. Thanks again to All Dog Rescue for the tremendously important work that you do.
Update Received July 2009: Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how much we ALL LOVE Sadie (formerly Sophia). We are all crazy about her. She is the sweetest, mellowest dog I've known, and she melts the hearts of everyone who meets her. Both cats are totally fine with her too. She is having a blast here. Last weekend, we all went to my parents lake place up north which is on about 25 acres---mostly wooded but with the lake on one side and some mowed lawn. We are very far off any road. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law brought their small female 2-year old dog and she and Sadie were instant friends. They tore around the yard, playing, all weekend off leash and did awesome. I honestly think that never in her whole life had she been that happy. SO happy that in the morning, she wouldn't even eat her breakfast (!!!!) because she was so excited to get out to play. We are giving her more freedoms around the house and she is proving to be very trustworthy. Just a few accidents, but for the most part she is a very well behaved lady. We love her so so so much !!! What a happy ending.
