10 Nellie
Update Received December 2012: Our "Tip" is enjoying being spoiled and loves every second of the day. She of course is spoiling us too, with her snuggles and kisses. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together. Tip's favorite past time is watching the bird feeder from the lap of Jim and seeing the squirrels eat and the bunnies running across the snowy back yard. Tippy also enjoy car rides to Grandma's house for extra hugs and love snuggling on Grandma's big soft couch. Happy New Year from our family!
Update Received October 2012: I just want to thank you for Nellie aka Tippy. She has really added joy to our life. She is so happy and the tail is always a wagging. She is up with the chickens with Jimmy. She doesn't want to miss out on any of their adventures that they have together each day while I am at work. They go for many walks each day. She not wanting to just lay around and nap. She is really happy and is very happy to see new family member's who come to see her. I loved the name Nellie, but when Jim was interacting with her outside. he accidentally called her "Tippy" which was one of his old farm dogs he knew when he was younger and actually looked like her. She was so excited hearing that name and actually yipped and came running to him. I was up on the deck watching them out in the yard, it was amazing. So there is the beginning of "Tippy". I think it sounded a lot like "Tilla" her original name.
First day with us she ate her dinner. First night - she jumped up and insisted on sleeping with us. It only got better from there. She is truly happy and we are too.
