Satan's accusations are vague. The Holy Spirit gives convincing evidence.

James McIvory wrote:  “The devil wants to condemn Christians, make them feel like their going to hell, have no fellowship with God and make them feel as if they committed sin that they are going not going to heaven.”   snip

Donna writes:  It is important to understand that satan’s accusations are always vague.  He makes a Christian feel guilty; but he gives no clear evidence that the Christian has disobeyed God.  On the other hand, the Holy Spirit gives the Christian convincing evidence that he has transgressed the Commandments of God by exposing a  hidden sin of ignorance.

After a Christian has been truly born of God,  only sins of ignorance are forgiven.  The problem with modern Christianity is that few Christians have ever been born-again.  Many are deceived because they have spiritual gifts; but signs and wonders  are not the evidence of having the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Think about this:  Judas and the other disciples cast out demons and healed the sick  --but none of them were born-again; nor did they have the indwelling Holy Spirit.   The apostles  received the  indwelling Holy Spirit  after the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

The blood of the covenant only covers sins of ignorance for the people who have the indwelling Holy Spirit and are truly born-again.  The evidence that a person has the indwelling Holy Spirit and is born of God is they have the power to overcome the sinful deeds of the flesh.   Since they will never be tempted beyond what they are able to endure,  any sin of rebellion will be a treacherous act that will not be forgiven.  On judgment day, Jesus will say this to many Christians who called him Lord;  but did not obey the Commandments of God:

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Ye that work iniquity = anomia  - transgress the law.
