Florida Timeshares - Fun in the Sun
Fun in the Sun - Buying a Florida Timeshare
Florida is a leader in the timeshare industry, having more timeshares than any other state.
And what’s not to like about Florida? You have everything from pristine beaches to world class golf courses. Florida is an outdoor lover’s dream location. With over 600 miles of beaches, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and all kinds of water sports– this is the place for you and your family. But what if you can’t afford to buy a home there and that’s unrealistic anyway? You can, possibly, own a Florida timeshare.
Florida has so much to offer. If you have children, you have the best attractions in the world to entertain them. And almost anyone who has been to Disney with their kids, will happily go back for visit after visit. Buying a timeshare would mean that you and your family could better afford your vacations there. It only takes a few years to recoup your investment. And then after that, you’ll be sailing. Just think, you can come to Florida every year and share it with your friends and family.
One of the best things about a timeshare, no matter where you own it, is the ability to trade your timeshare with others all over the world. This makes your Florida timeshare even more appealing. You can join exchange groups such as Resort Condominiums International (RCI) or Interval International (II) and through them you can arrange to exchange your timeshare week(s) with other exchange group members.
You will get the best deal on a Florida timeshare when you buy from a resale agent. Many sellers in Florida are selling their timeshares at or below market value. It’s definitely a buyer’s market out there. In a July, 2005 article by Jason Tremblay, he says the Florida time-share industry contributed $14.3 billion to the state’s economy. This suggests that the timeshare market is alive and well in Florida. As a buyer, your choices are almost endless.
There is no doubt that people love their timeshares. According to Resort Condominiums International website, www.RCI.com , they have over 3000,000 registered members. They have, on average, 9000 new members each month and about 80,000 visitors each week. With numbers like that, you, as a timeshare owner have so many choices. You can rent or trade your timeshare with literally thousands of people.
Florida offers so many vacation possibilities. Owning a timeshare there would mean you could go back there over and over, learning and discovering even more about this beautiful state. You can sit on a beach and be amused by the pelicans or you can do something about your handicap on a nearby golf course. When it comes to timeshares, Florida has it all– great timeshare resale opportunities, the ability to easily exchange your timeshare with others, and the satisfaction of offering your friends and family a fabulous, fun in the sun, vacation.
