Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath! Therefore, the spirit of anti-Christ viciously attacks the Anointed One and His Commandment. Yes -- antichrists undermine the authority of Jesus Christ. They band together to find fault with the perfect law of God and falsely accuse Jesus of sin. Indeed, their actions say: "We will not have this man to rule over us."
When the Pharisees falsely accused Jesus of breaking the sabbath, Jesus said this to them:
"But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, YE WOULD NOT HAVE CONDEMNED THE GUILTLESS. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day." Matt12:7-8 (KJV)
Jesus was guiltless because He was the judge of HOW to keep the Sabbath Day holy. If Jesus had broken the Sabbath, he would not have been guiltless.
Who is the true authority of HOW the Sabbath should be kept? Is it the Pharisees who altered the commandment by adding their traditions? Or is it Jesus who sanctified the first Sabbath; who gave the commandment on Mount Sinai; and to whom the Father has given authority to execute judgment?
It was Jesus who SPOKE the Sabbath Commandment on Mount Sinai.
"And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: YE HEARD THE VOICE OF THE WORDS, but saw no similitude; ONLY YE HEARD A VOICE. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even TEN COMMANDMENTS; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone." Deut 4:12-13 (KJV)
Antichrists refuse to listen to the voice that spoke on Mount Sinai. They falsely accuse Jesus of breaking the Sabbath and arrogantly judge the wisdom and goodness of the Law-Giver in order to justify their own disobedience to the 4th Commandment.
Jesus said that those who love Him are those who keep His commandments. Will you break the Sabbath Commandment in order to keep your job, your baseball games or your family and friends? Do you love the things of this world more than you love Jesus? Judgment-is-coming!
