The writer of Hebrews is quoting Psalm 95:7-11. In both cases, those words were calling "TO DAY" the time to hear the voice of the LORD and repent.
"TO DAY" is a limited time of grace. In it, man has an opportunity to make decisions and prepare himself for THAT DAY of God's judgment.
"TO DAY" belongs to man for making his judgments. The scriptures are setting it in contrast to THE DAY OF THE LORD, a period of divine judgments.
"But exhort one another daily, WHILE IT IS CALLED TO DAY; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." Heb 3:13 (KJV)
Most certainly, Psalm 95 had nothing to do with Sunday worship! The whole chapter is calling Israel to repentance from their apostasy of worshipping other gods. It is calling them to honor the only true God. (Who created the heavens and the earth.) The Sabbath Commandment makes that distinction ...
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and *do all thy work*:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and **rested the seventh day**: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exod 20:8-11 (KJV)
