correct, please tell us your time zone (and other details) using the
drop-down menus below:
Set Date/Time format:
In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”
displayed after the time (ex. 1:00p.m.). In 24 hour format the hours will be displayed as 00 through 23 (ex. 13:00).
You can always change your time zone by going to your Account Settings.

Girl Scout handshake & sign and The Quiet sign
Girl Scout handshake A formal way of greeting other Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. You shake hands with the left hand and give the Girl Scout sign with your right hand.
Girl Scout sign Made by raising three fingers of the right hand. This sign stands for the three parts of the Promise. You give the sign when:
You are welcomed into Girl Scouting at an investiture ceremony.
You receive a patch or badge.
You greet other Girl Scouts and Girl Guides.
Quiet sign Raising the right hand over the head to signal for attention and quiet at any Girl Scout gathering. When the hand goes up, mouths go quiet, and everyone joins in giving the quiet sign.
