THE TRINITY CREED
As I understand it, the doctrine of the Trinity as expressed in the Athanasian Creed is:
"...And the catholic faith is this, that we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity...the whole three persons co-eternal and co-equal...He therefore that will be saved MUST THINK THUS of the Trinity."
If that is true, then there is an important question...
Where did Jesus or the apostles ever teach that Christians must believe that God is three persons, who are co-equal and co-eternal in order to be saved?
If in fact, those who do not believe in the Trinity cannot be saved, it seems to me that we have a moral obligation to show explicit and unambiguous scriptural authority for that position - or admit that our authority is unscriptural.
