"THY KINGDOM COME"

 "THY KINGDOM COME"

Many Christians pray to the Father:  "Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."  Then they reject the kingdom because it isn't what they expected.

They understand this truth:

" ... Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"  1 Corinthians 15:3-4

BUT they do not understand the kingdom of God comes without observation and miss the significance of these words that Jesus spoke after His resurrection:

"   ... All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."  Matthew 28:18-20

JESUS IS OUR KING WHEN HE RULES OUR LIVES

"Christians"  must do the will of the Father to enter His Kingdom; AND WE MUST DO IT WHILE IT IS CALLED TODAY --or be rejected on THAT DAY.  Jesus said this to His disciples:

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in ***that day***, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."  Matthew 7:21-23

"Christians", the world is already condemned.  Those words are directed to people who already call Jesus "Lord".  The Son will not accept lip-service.  On judgment day, if you are among the many who have called Him "Lord" but have refused to obey the Commandments of God, then all your singing and dancing and praising his name will be in vain

--As an enemy of God, you will die the second death.
