"Say among the nations, "The LORD Reigns." Psalm 96:10
The LORD reigns because He created the heavens and the earth. Nevertheless, infidels oppose the Biblical account of creation and are attracted to the theory of evolution because evolutionists do not have to obey the commandments of a Creator.
Unfortunately, many church members also show their infidelity by refusing to obey the commandment that commemorates the mighty creative work of God:
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy."
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the SEVENTH day is the sabbath of the LORD: in it thou shalt not do any work ...
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Exodus 20:8-11
When we rest from our labours on the Sabbath day, "In God We Trust" becomes a meaningful experience instead of a slogan on a dollar bill.
In order to keep the Sabbath Day holy many difficult choices must be made. However, as we put God first, each Sabbath Day becomes both an opportunity for our faith to grow, and a visible witness that says to the world:
"The LORD Reigns!"
