Are You A Good Health Coach?
health coach certification

It's a lucrative job that's growing extremely lucrative. If you are considering becoming a coach, here are some things you should consider. I've been certified as a health coach for more than 5 years. I'd like to share some of my insights and suggestions.

Health Coaching is a job

Many are interested in my decision to leave the corporate world to be an online entrepreneur after becoming a coach. Some health coaches prefer to work with clients in a one-on-one manner or with a group of clients, while others, such as myself, use their certificates as a jump off point for creating recipes for food products, wellness-oriented products and brands.

Do you want to become a Health Coach?

The short answer is yes or no. There are many excellent reasons to take on the field of health coaching, which I'll discuss in the following paragraphs. These are the factors that will make you happy with the program. But there are some important reasons not to.

Do You want to improve Your Health?

Did you consider that health coach certification online program participants have no desire to begin a business? This is the truth. People want to know more about holistic health and nutrition to benefit their own wellness and also help others who are around them. This is prevention-based medicine at its finest.

I can assure you that there are some things I wish I knew 10 years ago about nutrition, wellness , and self-care that could have helped me avoid my many doctor visits when I was diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases. While I am grateful for my current health I cannot emphasize enough the importance of education on well-being.

If you're looking to make a a positive impact on others and create a successful career from it

One of the most rewarding aspects of coaching for health is the positive impact it has on clients' lives and helping them achieve their goals. But just to clarify (as it can get complicated) the health and wellness professionals are NOT dieteticians, clinical nutritionists or doctors. They do not prescribe medicines and lab tests, nor do they offer medical guidance.

Like athletic or business coaches, health coaches are able to inspire, motivate and provide the feeling of accountability. They have been proven to be extremely effective. This could be accomplished by them or in the context of doctors' offices as part their clinical practice.

Do You Want to Create A Wellness-Centered Organization?

While it might seem odd to have a primal health coach review to coach, it could be the biggest trend. Many people pursue health coaching to have an excellent, broad background in holistic health and nutrition, as the basis for their other pursuits.

The cookbook aisle is well worth a look next time you visit an online bookshop. You'll be amazed by how many cookbook authors are accredited as health professionals. Other revenue streams are accessible to health coach like creating books, coordinating wellness retreats, and creating physical and digital products.

If You're Not Realistic About the Work You Do

I've spoken to a lot of individuals who have pursued health coaching, with dreams of huge wealth dancing in their heads. They calculate the amount they can charge. $100/hour x 2080 hour per year is $208K. These individuals were disappointed and concluded that the 9-5 job was not for them.

It is possible to earn a living coaching, but it won't happen overnight. It will require a lot of work. Clients won't come to you immediately after your certification is complete. You'll have to search for them, reach out to them, and gain their business. This requires confidence, business skills and a keen understanding of marketing.
