UK universities are deservedly among the top global educational institutions. But there are controversial points. Compare obtaining a student visa with the same request in the USA. Education in the USA is also at a high level. However, getting a visa is much easier. As for the quality of the training program, it is approximately the same. The first year of study is a traditionally high workload for students, both in lectures and in home study.

I have no experience living in a dorm. Sometimes I feel sad that I didn't get to experience it. Though everyone tells me I'm lucky I could live at home instead of in a dorm while studying at university.

Well, I didn't live in a dorm either, and I don't regret it at all. I'm very glad I finally graduated and can now devote all my time to my life and my favorite activities. I don't miss university at all. But that doesn't mean I've stopped learning. Right now, my focus is on foreign languages, especially english language. While I'm still looking for a good tutor, I decided to start with apps, which are quite abundant now. I think this will definitely help with my studies.
