What a great way to do the walking tours, with headsets. Smart. Really enjoyed your whole blog. Beautiful pictures of sunset in the city and all the lights coming on.

Wow, as always your commentary is great and I feel like I've been there, so fascinating to see the glorious Lady herself (Statue of Liberty), Ellis Island, the church where George Washington attended, and all the sights. I just showed my students photos of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Ireland for St. Patrick's day, and one in New York looks just as beautiful. Thanks for sharing, as I may never make it to NYC! I'm curious, which ethnic group had the highest number of immigrants through Ellis Island?

Great photos - especially the last ones from the Empire State Building. Are there any photos of the tiny hotel room?

Favorite photos were the ones from the Empire State Building. What were the nice new features on the subway cars that you mentioned?
