Wow!!! I didn't realize there was so much history in New York City! I agree, seeing where George Washington and John Adams, etc. hung out at the Morris Jumel house is fascinating. The church architecture is also amazing, as is that statue of Jesus on a donkey! (That event was prophesied about 500 years before Christ was born....."Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey." -Zechariah 9:9
Great photo blog, Papa Tom!!

Wow! You both saw and experienced so much on the trip! I'm amazed at how much you did. I really enjoyed learning about some of the lesser known attractions that you visited. Thank you for sharing so much from your trip.

great photos and a great blog - it makes me want to go to NYC. In those last few photos looking towards the Empire State building from the top of Rockafeller center, is that the new world trade center building there on the right? From what I can see of the finished portions, it looks like it .

Awesome! I agree with Katharine that it makes me want to go to NYC. Very surprised that people got up and gave you two their seats on the subway. How nice of them!!! Loved the Morris Jumel house and everything else!
