Bern Bahnhof
Bern was founded in 1191 and considered to be a true gem of medieval architecture in Europe.
With its sandstone and limestone buildings, medieval arcades, Renaissance fountains with colorful figures, and beautiful original cityscape made it
a "World Heritage" town.

Zeitglockenturm or Clock Tower, is as much the symbol of Bern as the bear.
Below the main east face of the clock is an intricate astronomical and astrological device.

What draws people here is a little display of mechanical figures - which is set into motion four minutes before every hour on the clock’s east face.
The bell is chimed every hour.
