Hello, my name is Crinkles and my number is 77902. I am a handsome gray and white cat with a little white mustache. I came to the SPCA on April 28th with an injured right back leg. They were unable to save my leg so now I only have three. Having only three legs does not stop me at all sometimes I forget I am missing one, I play, run and jump just like any cat with four. I am the biggest lover boy you'll every see, I want nothing more then attention from humans and I have a very soft fur which makes it very nice to pet me and you can pet me all day long. Try to fine a nicer cat, I think you'll have a really hard time because I am ONE of a kind. I am in foster care right now to help strengthen my good leg, you can apply at the SPCA and if you are approved you may come and visit. Please call the SPCA about adopting me.

Update from his family - November 26, 2012 Hello! Yes we got a copy and I was just thinking I needed to give you another update on Kizmo...he is doing GREAT! He has a regular routine of sleeping, purring, playing with his toys and watching the wildlife out the windows. He loves when company comes and delivers a ball at their feet for them to play with him! Our son, Kolt, is doing a great job keeping him well fed and clean-we are very proud of him taking on this responsibility! Kizmo enjoys all of our company, but seems to like my husband best-isn’t that how it always goes, the one who didn’t really want a new pet in the house gets the attention from the pet? Everyone who stops by loves Kizmo and he loves to cuddle with new people. He gets around like any other cat and truly doesn’t know he is missing a leg! I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season! Brita and Kolt

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that Crinkles (aka Kizmo) has been adapting very well. He currently is confined to my son’s bedroom and bathroom for a few days just to get acclimated, but he is already looking to explore beyond his realm. Kolt has had a few sniffles, but no hives, and I know fall allergies are upon us too! I will send pictures as soon as I get a few more minutes. But thank you again for the time you took in helping us adopt our new family member! Kolt and Kizmo are doing very well! He purrs all the time, and especially loves just laying with Kolt in his bed. He’s so mild mannered too...a perfect fit, I think. He enjoys playing with his laser and his feather toy the most, and likes his cat tower so he can see out the window. He’s very gentle with his claws too, which is nice. Kolt is already going to miss him when he goes to school tomorrow! Brita and Kolt

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope you remember Kizmo (his name at PetSmart was Krinkles). He is athree legged cat that my son adopted 3 years ago. Kizmo is doing GREAT- sort of a celebrity among our friends and family. He loves people, loves attention and is such a loving addition to our family. He rules the house, he is our morning wake up call at 630am, no matter what time we really wanted to get up! The vet says he is a healthy, happy cat that doesn’t even know he lost a leg!
