Mittens and Marshmallow's owner had too many cats. They came in to PetSmart January 31, 2013 because they were very shy and needed a quieter environment. They are both very sweet. They are bonded so they must be adopted together but with the 2 Purr program, the 2nd adoption fee is waived.

As far as an update- well, she is doing just great! We have modified her name and we now call her Beatrice Mittens! She is still pretty shy but has come a long way- she lays down at night with me and will seek me out and let me pet her and kiss her sweet, adorable face! We just absolutely love her and are so happy we were able to adopt her! I have included a few pictures of her- she likes to sleep on my daughter's bed now!

I just wanted to give you an update on Beatrice Mittens and Woodie (we still call him Woodie cause it's so cute but it's now short for his official name which is Woodrow Michael} Anyway, both of my babies are doing great! Beatrice Mittens is just thriving here, and now ventures downstairs with the other cats and the dogs! She looks so shiny and healthy and is just a sweet girl. Woodie is also doing great- he has been staying in my teenage daughter's room this last week and is adjusting well. He has met one of my other cats and now comes to me as soon as he hears my voice! He is extremely loving and much less shy than Beatrice Mittens. In the evenings, I open the bedroom door so Woodie can venture out, and Beatrice Mittens will peek her head around the corner to look at him. They are still not friends, but are co-existing and I know they will both do just fine. Our house is big, so if nothing else, they can stay out of each other's way! So, all in all, we are just thrilled to have the 2 most adorable, sweet persians in the world! They are definetly a success story and we just love them dearly! I have included a couple pictures of sweet Beatrice sleeping and a couple of my Woodie- he is soooo adorable! Thank you so much for your support and for helping me to find Woodie! It was meant to be!
