Nugget 122976 ADOPTED 7/27/2018
update 4 August 2019:
This is Nugget. We kept his name, since he's a sweet fuzzy nugget of love. His favorite pastime is lounging on the sofa in our den. He is a truly special boy, and has made our home complete. He loves hanging out with our other SPCA adopted kitty Violet (formerly Loopsy) and they spaz out daily, delighting us with their lively play and loving ways. Both kitties love getting groomed by our lab mix Molly. Kate

Here are nugget and loopy (Violet) hanging out together and nugget in his new bed. The two of them are already reacquainted and relaxed. Thanks so much for helping me bring them both to their forever home!
Meet Nugget! This handsome fella is looking for a new home to call his own. He gets along well with other cats and people. We are unsure how he would do with dogs.
This cat is located at the York County SPCA satellite at Hanover PetSmart. There are times when cats are relocated and this entry may not be currently updated, please email yorkcountyspca@gmail.com to verify the cat's location or for more information.
To fill out an adoption application, you can complete an application located at Hanover PetSmart on the adoption table. You can also complete an application online by at www.ycspca.org , click on Adopt a Pet and then click on Apply on line to bring up an application. Please note that the adoption center is manned by volunteers and arrangements will need to be made for a visitation. Please email yorkcountyspca@gmail.com to make arrangements. Once your application is approved, coordination with an adoption volunteer will be needed to meet at Hanover PetSmart.
Pets adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered and receive necessary vaccinations as part of the adoption fee.
PLEASE NOTE: The economy has taken its toll on pets. We currently have many cats looking for forever homes. We are running a 2 Purr Special until further notice. If you have room in your heart and your home for 2 kitty cats you can now adopt 2 cats and the 2nd adoption fee will be waived. Be sure to ask about the 2 PURR SPECIAL when you fill out your application for adoption.
