Set Date/Time format:
In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”

Meow, Meow to Jo and Judy!!
Bernie here with Lou Ann, my paws were slipping all over the keyboard so Lou Ann says she'll post for me!!
First, please know I wasn't at all sure what to think when we started home. I cried and cried the first mile or two, but Lou Ann talked and talked, did everything to comfort me, and please don't tell ((ssshhh)) but she kept her hand by my face, fingers thru the carrier, the WHOLE WAY HOME 'cause that way I knew it was Lou Ann for sure, and I started to feel much better.
Silly Lou Ann managed to get us lost initially, but she spotted a WellSpan Urgent Care office, and she said "Bernie, that's just the spot we need, they will know!" And guess what, they did!! A really nice lady gave us more directions, told Lou Ann how to get back on the right track, and gave us her phone number just in case, too.. Then Lou Ann said, "Bernie, yeah, we're on our way for sure now, this is Route 30 and we're smooth sailing all the way now!" And she did, she kept her hand and fingers by my face the entire way and that made me really happy!
Lou Ann thought maybe I might like some music, and believe it or not she found some vintage Rod Stewart, and I loved it, imagine that!! I even took a nap!
I've already had some supper and water, tried out my new litter box, AND I found this really comfy rocker and jumped right up there and stretched out, and then I hopped right up on Lou Ann's lap!! She got really excited about that!!!
I am still missing you, Jo, looking all around for you, 'cause you and all the ladies were SOOOOOOOO VERY GOOD to me, and Lou Ann understands that and is trying to help me. We're just being kind of quiet tonight, hanging out., but we wanted to check in!

To fill out an adoption application, you can complete an application located at Hanover PetSmart on the adoption table. You can also complete an application online by at www.ycspca.org , click on Adopt a Pet and then click on Apply on line to bring up an application. Please note that the adoption center is manned by volunteers and arrangements will need to be made for a visitation. Please email yorkcountyspca@gmail.com to make arrangements. Once your application is approved, coordination with an adoption volunteer will be needed to meet at Hanover PetSmart.
Pets adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered and receive necessary vaccinations as part of the adoption fee.
PLEASE NOTE: The economy has taken its toll on pets. We currently have many cats looking for forever homes. We are running a 2 Purr Special until further notice. If you have room in your heart and your home for 2 kitty cats you can now adopt 2 cats and the 2nd adoption fee will be waived. Be sure to ask about the 2 PURR SPECIAL when you fill out your application for adoption.
