Character trait of the Prophet that all of us should follow
Probably most of us have heard the hadith of the incident when Amr bin Al As returned from the battle of Dhat-us-Salasil and came to the Prophet ﷺ asking him: “which people do you love most?” the Prophet ﷺ answered “Aisha”. Amr asked him: “from amongst the men”. The Prophet ﷺ answered: “her father”. Amr asked again “whom (do you love) next?”. Then the Prophet ﷺ has named Umar, but Amr continued to ask with a hope to be from amongst mostly beloved people. However, he had to stop shortly after due to the fear that he would be amongst the last.
