St Andrews Kirby Bedon
We made an emotional stop at St Andrew's church Kirby Bedon. Ivan explained that August 1944 saw the crash of Broad and High and the loss of 4 young men who were on the plane. The St Andrew's congregation made a plaque honoring the 4 boys. Dad was asked to attend the unveiling of the plaque and also in attendance were the base Chaplain and Col. Mahoney.
