My name is Emerson but some call me stunning !! I am a very handsome boy and am affectionate, too. I love to play and I get along with the other cats in the room.
This cat is located at the York County SPCA satellite at Hanover PetSmart. There are times when cats are relocated and this entry may not be currently updated, please email yorkcountyspca@gmail.com to verify the cat's location or for more information.
To fill out an adoption application, you can complete an application located at Hanover PetSmart on the adoption table. You can also complete an application online by at www.ycspca.org , click on Adopt a Pet and then click on Apply on line to bring up an application. Please note that the adoption center is manned by volunteers and arrangements will need to be made for a visitation. Please email yorkcountyspca@gmail.com to make arrangements. Once your application is approved, coordination with an adoption volunteer will be needed to meet at Hanover PetSmart.
Pets adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered and receive necessary vaccinations as part of the adoption fee.
PLEASE NOTE: The economy has taken its toll on pets. We currently have many cats looking for forever homes. We are running a 2 Purr Special until further notice. If you have room in your heart and your home for 2 kitty cats you can now adopt 2 cats and the 2nd adoption fee will be waived. Be sure to ask about the 2 PURR SPECIAL when you fill out your application for adoption.
Hi! Just wanted to give an update. Emerson and Chester (Yellowstone) settled right in and made themselves at home. They are doing great! We have an appointment for Emerson at our local vet next week as we have noticed his poop is overly intense in smell (hopefully just a food issue)and also to have his back end checked out as we noticed he walks funny once we got him home. Thinking maybe an old injury, since it doesnt seem to bother him one bit. Just curious if you had any insight on these issues? We saw it was noted in his chart about blood in his poop and smell on occasion. I have attached some pics, thanks for checking in! Chrissy
